Anthony A. Sesto, O.D., is from St. Clair Shores, MI and a 2008 graduate of South Lake High School. He went on to study biology/pre-optometry at Ferris State University where he completed his bachelors degree. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree he was accepted into the Michigan College of Optometry. During his final year of graduate school, Dr. Sesto was able to train at Dorn V.A. Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina and Duane Waters Hospital in Jackson, Michigan where he gained valuable experience managing patients with ocular disease, keratoconus, low vision and pre/post op surgical care.  In 2016, he graduated with honors with his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry.
Since becoming an optometrist, Dr. Sesto practiced in a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice where he gained vast experience treating and managing ocular diseases such as diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye and keratoconus. 

Now that Dr. Sesto is practicing at Normandy Optical, he has brought his experience from his previous practice along with new technologies and treatments. Dr. Sesto enjoys providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, specialty contact lens fits, treating
 Dry eyeand the management of ocular diseases such as Diabetes, ​Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and others.Dr. Sesto's passion for providing the best care for his patients was noticed by doctors from Kresge Eye Institute and they have been referring patients to him for scleral contact lenses to treat Keratoconusgenetic corneal dystrophies and severe dry eye caused by Sjogrens and Graft vs Host Disease

Dr. Sesto is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association, Optometric Services to Humanity, Michigan Foundation of Vision Awareness and the Michigan Optometric Association where he is involved with the executive board and many committees. When Dr. Sesto is not working or volunteering his time you can catch him golfing, going up north to his family's cottage,  boating, and spending time with his wife (Jessica) and his son (AJ) born May 2019, daughter (Juliet) born January 2021 and daughter (Maria) born March 2023.

Bret Williams O.D., is from Chesterfield, MI, and a 2012 graduate from L’Anse Creuse High-School North. He started his undergraduate studies at Macomb Community College and finished at Ferris State University. In 2016 he was accepted into the Michigan College of Optometry. After his first year of optometry school, he earned his bachelors degree in Vision Science.

During his last year of graduate school, Dr. Williams received clinical training at Henry Ford OptimEyes, Normandy Optical, the Wyoming Michigan Veterans Affairs Hospital, and the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Grand Rapids, MI. His last year of schooling provided valuable experiences with primary care, pediatrics, ocular disease, and low vision. In 2020, he graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry.
Dr. Williams has now returned to Normandy Optical to practice optometry. His interests include treating and co-managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, myopia control, and providing low-vision services and device demonstration. Dr. Williams looks forward to providing the most optimal care to you, your friends, and family.
 
Dr. Williams is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée Katherine and their cat, Leonard. When possible, they enjoy camping across the state of Michigan. Dr. Williams loves spending time with his friends and family when he is not providing patient care.

Mark Kaczmarek, O.D., is from Hartland, MI and is a graduate of Hartland High School. He studied biology/pre-optometry at Saginaw Valley State University and was an active member of their marching band, jazz ensemble, and percussion ensemble. Prior to the completion of his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Kaczmarek was accepted to the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University through their early admission program. Throughout his first year of optometry school, he completed the requirements to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Vision Science. During his externship year, Dr. Kaczmarek gained valuable experience with primary care, specialty contact lenses, and ocular disease at the Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Hospital, a multi-location private practice in Central Michigan, and Normandy Optical. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2021 with highest honors. 
Dr. Kaczmarek has returned to Normandy Optical and enjoys practicing full-scope optometry which includes managing ocular diseases such as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Kaczmarek met his wife, Dr. Kelsey Kaczmarek, while in optometry school and they got married in October of 2022. They have settled in Commerce and cherish time with their dog, Nora, who is a cavapoo. Their favorite hobby together is a competitive round of mini golf. Dr. Kaczmarek also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and on the smoker.

Sarah Kujawski, O.D., is from Clinton Township, MI, and a 2012 graduate of Fraser High School. She went on to study at Ferris State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Optometry. Following her undergraduate studies, she was accepted into the Michigan College of Optometry, where she graduated in 2020.

During her final year of graduate school, Dr. Kujawski received clinical training at Normandy Optical, Balian Eye Center in Rochester, Michigan, Walton and Becker Eyecare in Oxford, Michigan, and The John Dingell Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Detroit. During this time, she gained clinical experience managing primary care, pre/post-op surgical care, low vision, and ocular disease.
​As a practicing optometrist at Normandy Optical, Dr. Kujawski enjoys managing myopia control, treating dry eyes, and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. She is excited to be providing comprehensive care in the community where she grew up.

Dr. Kujawski is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. When she is not practicing optometry, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Adam, spending time with family, and doing craft projects.

Kelsey Kaczmarek (Kowalski), O.D., grew up in a small town outside of Fargo, North Dakota and was involved in her school’s dance program. She set her mind on becoming an optometrist when she was in middle school. She studied Zoology/Pre-Optometry at North Dakota State University. Prior to the completion of her bachelor’s degree, Dr. Kaczmarek was accepted to the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University through their early admission program. Throughout her first year of optometry school, she completed the requirements to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Vision Science. During her externship year, Dr. Kaczmarek gained valuable experience with primary care and ocular disease at the Saginaw Veterans Affairs Hospital, a multi-location private practice in Central Michigan, and Henry Ford OptimEyes. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2021 with high distinction.
Dr. Kaczmarek enjoys seeing patients of all ages for comprehensive eye exams. This includes managing ocular diseases such as dry eye, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She is passionate about meeting every patients’ visual needs and developing a close doctor-patient relationship.

Dr. Kaczmarek met her husband, Dr. Mark Kaczmarek, while in optometry school and they got married in October of 2022. They have settled in Commerce and cherish time with their dog, Nora, who is a cavapoo. She often spends free time traveling with her husband as she has family members living in North Dakota, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. Her ideal weekend includes relaxing on a boat, a competitive game of mini golf, and indulging in her husband’s cooking.

Sarah Krause O.D., is from Chesterfield, MI, and a 2007 graduate from L’Anse Creuse High-School North. She attended Lyman Briggs College as part of Michigan State University and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Physiology. During her junior year of college, she developed an interest in optometry and was active in her college’s pre-optometry club. In 2011, she was accepted into Salus University as part of Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

During the end of her third year of optometry school, Dr. Krause had the opportunity to complete primary care training at Cleveland Eye Clinic in OH. She also received clinical training in her final year at Broward Eye Care in FL, Braverman Eye Center in FL,Michigan Veterans Affairs Hospital, and a pediatrics rotation at The Eye Institute through Salus University. In 2015, she graduated with from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
Dr. Krause started her career practicing with Advanced Vision in 2016 and then became a part of Normandy Optical practice in 2020 when they acquired the practice. Her interests include pediatric eye care, binocular vision and vision therapy, and treating and co-managing ocular diseases. Dr. Sarah Krause, O.D. looks forward to providing the most compassionate care to you, your family and your friends.

Dr. Krause is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband Nathan and their two bright and adventurous girls, Gabriella and Ruby. She also enjoys visiting with her other family and friends. Tennis is one her favorite ways to stay active so she can indulge in the baked goods that she also loves to bake.

Devin Pickett, O.D. is from Clinton Township, Michigan and graduated from the International Academy of Macomb, having earned her International Baccalaureate Diploma. She then attended Ferris State University for her undergraduate studies in biology, and gained early acceptance into the Michigan College of Optometry (MCO). After her first year of optometry school, she earned her bachelor’s degree in vision science.

During her last year at MCO, Dr. Pickett received clinical training at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Normandy Optical, and Henry Ford OptimEyes in Troy. Through these clinical rotations, she gained valuable experience in ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, primary care, and pediatrics.

​Dr. Pickett has returned to Normandy Optical to practice optometry. Her interests include treating and co-managing ocular conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye. She strives to meet the unique visual needs of each of her patients and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Dr. Pickett looks forward to providing comprehensive eye care to you, your family, and friends.
Dr. Pickett is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and finding new local coffee shops to try. She loves spending time with family- especially for game nights
